Managing Director and founder Phil Verheijen loves nothing more than finding a solution when everyone else says it can’t be done. With his extensive background in Business and Commercial Banking, he specialises where others fear to tread with home and equipment loans for self-employed applicants.

Phil has had a distinguished career in banking which commenced in 2000 with Lloyds TSB Bank in the UK. He has gone on to hold many high-profile roles in personal and commercial banking departments within the NAB and ANZ. With real-life experience in managing significant portfolios, he has an outstanding knowledge base of broker finance and all types of the lending solutions including home loans, car finance, and personal loans, from simple to more complex commercial files with group borrowings in excess of $30M.

Not only does he manage a portfolio of clients he also acts as a mentor and coach for other Professional Lending Solutions Brokers around the country – especially when it comes to the more complex business and commercial lending proposals.

He has completed a Diploma of Financial Services (Mortgage Broking), along with a Bachelor of Business (Financial & Property) and an MBA (International Business). Phil is also a Commissioner for Declarations so he can witness your documents in-house for you. Away from the office, Phil spends as much time as he can with his family and loves coaching his son’s rugby team and cheering on his daughter’s netball team. Throughout his career, he has also held many board positions in non-profit and sporting organisations.
